It is Friday so it's Carrie here with Cakey Friday!!
So when I first started making cakes I was only going to make cupcakes.... however very quickly people were asking me for Birthday cakes - and a few of them character cakes...
Now this is a bit of a grey area, as if you are using a certain well known character then you should ask for permission. The way to do it correctly is to purchase the characters to use, or get permission.... some are more than happy and ask you to share it - others will make you buy copyright - which for a cake or two is quite costly - but it means you are covered....
Just remember that whatever you make - be safe... but have fun!!!
